Coal bed methane purification treatment and CDM monitoring technology

Gas extracted from coal mine is normally referred to as coal bed methane (CBM) or coal mine methane (CMM), in which methane content is about 25%-98%. Due to large reserved amount of CBM in China, methane in CBM or CMM can be recovered for power generation and thus apply for CDM project to obtain CER’s. According to extraction and discharge characteristics of CBM, the Center has developed equipments including gas pretreatment, enclosed flare, monitor and control system, and CDM monitoring device etc.
